Campbell Competes at Jamaican Olympic Trials Saturday

GREELEY, Colo. – Jerome Campbell returns home for the biggest race of his life Saturday.
Campbell competes in the Jamaican Olympic Trials at National Stadium in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica Saturday, June 29 in the 110-meter Hurdles heat races.
"Jerome has prepared for this for his entire career," Wayne Angel, UNC Director of Track of Field said. "After an injury ended his season in the spring of 2023, Jerome focused on his rehab and had a great sophomore campaign. He is producing at the highest levels of his career and completely prepared for this moment."
The preliminaries for the 110m Hurdles begin at 6 p.m. MT., with the finals Sunday, June 30 at 5:34 p.m. MT. The top three places from Sunday's finale qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Campbell finished seventh in the 110-meter Hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship June 7 in Eugene, Oregon, the highest finish in program history during the DI era.
