GREELEY, Colo. – Garrett Fisher collected MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athlete of the Week for April 28 – May 5.
Fisher, a native of Fort Collins, Colorado, helped Northern Colorado to sweep South Dakota State. He slashed .500/.588/.571, with a 1.159 OPS in the three-game series. Fisher went 7 for 14, with three walks, two runs scored and drove in five more.
In his final collegiate game in front of the home crowd, Fisher went 2 for 5, including a double, with a run-batted-in.
Fisher and the Bears travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, May 10-12 for a three-game series at Oral Roberts.
