Fisher and Bunn Hit HR Against Air Force

GREELY, Colo. – Garrett Fisher and Austin Bunn homered in Northern Colorado's 8-5 loss against Air Force at Jackson Field Tuesday.
With the Bears trailing 8-2 in the ninth inning, Fisher blasted a 3-run home run over the left-center fence. The Falcons went to their bullpen and the next two Bears went down in order.
Brandon Sanchez, Caden Wagner, Craig Kenny, Austin Bunn, Dalton Miller and Carter Monda joined Fisher in the hit column. Bunn and Monda inked a run-batted-in each.
Air Force opened the scoring in the first with a solo tally. They added one in the third, four in the sixth and two important insurance runs in the eighth.
UNC evened the score at 1-1 with an RBI single from Monda in the second. Bunn knotted the score at 2-2, with a lead-off home run to the deepest part of the yard, clearing the 416-foot sign in straight-away center with ease.
Sanchez walked and Wagner reached on an error with one out in the ninth and crossed the plate on Fisher's longball.
Kevin Sharp tossed 1 and 2/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen, allowing two hits and struck out three. Mason Bright faced the minimum in a scoreless ninth.
