Jack Tuttle punched out six Bison (10-21, 7-5 Summit) and walked none in three innings out of the bullpen in Northern Colorado's (7-27-1, 6-8-1 Summit) 11-4 setback.
The Bears' offense banged out 11 hits, with eight of the nine starters registering at least one hit. Caden Wagner and Jake King accounted for two hits each.
Austin Bunn smashed a double, moving into a tie for third most on the team, with five this season. Zain Zinicola, Carson Gross, Kai Wagner, Jackson Romero, Dalton Miller and Craig Kenny tallied a knock each. Zinicola, Gross, Romero and Fisher netted a run a piece.
Garret Fisher reached safely in his first three plate appearances being hit-by-pitch twice and walked once.
Bunn put UNC out front with an RBI double in the second, plating Fisher.
NDSU struck for three in the third and held the advantage until the bottom of the fifth.
The first three batters reached on a base hit to open the fifth. Zinicola dropped a knock in front of the left fielder and moved to second on a bunt single by Gross. Caden Wagner pulled a single down the left-field line and cut the deficit to 3-2. Miller evened the score with a two-out RBI, chasing Gross home from second.
The Bison pulled away with three in the sixth, one in the seventh and two in both the eighth and ninth innings.

UNC kicks off the second half of Summit League play at St. Thomas Friday (April 19) – Sunday (April 21) in St. Paul, Minnesota. The series opens at 2 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday begin at noon MT.
The Bears return home Tuesday, April 23 at 3 p.m. against the Air Force Academy.
