UNC Drops Series Finale at Georgia

ATHENS, Ga. – Northern Colorado dropped the series finale Sunday at Georgia 11-1.
Caden Wagner singled to center field to push across the Bears' lone run in the top of the third inning.
Leadoff hitter Jake King batted 2-for-2, drew a walk, and scored a run.
Logan Moser absorbed the loss on the mound tossed 1 1/3 innings and scattered four hits, allowing seven runs and one walk while fanning one batter.
Murphy Gienger, Jeffrey Behrends, Hunter Gibson, and Wilbur Berrios pitched the rest of the game.
The Bears return to action this weekend for a three-game Summit League series versus Saint Thomas. The series opener is Friday at 2 p.m. at Jackson Field.
