UNC Competes at Arkansas' Ultra-Competitive Tyson Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Northern Colorado continued its indoor track and field season at the Tyson Invitational.
"Our athletes are starting to show continued improvement from week to week," said UNC head coach Wayne Angel. "That's what we need to see at this time of the season as we get closer to the Big Sky Championships in two weeks.
Jerome Campbell continues his accession with a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.75. In the prelims, Campbell ran a time of 7.70/
"Jerome is starting to come into championship form as exemplified by his performance in the 60-meter hurdles. He is ranked 52nd in the world and 13th in the NCAA. He is ranked first in the Big Sky along with being ranked No. 1 in the 200m and 60m dash respectively."
Regina Mpigachai ran a season-best and finished 13th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:07.24, which was a season-best.
Wendira Moss placed 26th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.31, which was a season-best. Moss also placed 25th in the 200-meter dash with a mark of 24.06.

The Bears are in action on Friday at the Air Force Last Chance and then travel to Spokane, Washington for the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships (Feb. 22 – Feb. 24).
