GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (7-5) competes in its final nonconference game on the schedule, when the Bears take on Denver at (6-8) at Hamilton Gym Saturday at 3 p.m.
UNC defeated Air Force 81-76 at Bank of Colorado Arena Monday, guaranteeing the second-consecutive winning nonconference record under head coach Steve Smiley.
The Pioneers enter on a two-game losing streak after falling at Cal State Fullerton 74-59 Sunday, Dec. 15, before closing the road trip with a 95-94 overtime defeat at Cal Poly Tuesday.
The Bears own a 1-2 mark against Summit League opponents this season, with a neutral site win over South Dakota State.
Denver defeated Big Sky foes Montana State and Sacramento State at Hamilton Gym. The Pioneers went 1-1 on the road with a win at Portland State and a loss at Montana.
