Green, Chappa Add More Accolades

GREELEY, Colo. – Hunter Green and Cam Chapa added more hardware to their collections Wednesday.
Green earned a spot on the 2024 Stats Performa FCS All-America Third Team as a punter, while Chapa garnered Freshman All-America Defensive Team Honors.
Green, a native of Redmond, Washington, led the league and ranked fifth nationally with 46.3 yards per kick. He paced the Big Sky Conference with 21 punts over 50 yards, eight more than the next-highest total. He posted a season-long 72-yard punt against Abilene Christian. His 23 punts downed inside the 20 placed him first in the Big Sky Conference.
Chappa, a standout at Eaglecrest High School in Aurora, Colorado, played in all 12 games for the Bears during his rookie season. He ranked second in the Big Sky and 19th in FCS in interceptions per game, while his 6.9 tackles per game placed him 14th in the league and 118th in the nation.
