Coach Mattio Quote
"This squad continues to stay focused and make big plays in key stretches of the game and it continues to pay great dividends in the win column for us. I thought we weathered a few of Portland State's runs throughout the game. Aniah was fantastic and her consistency in not only scoring but rebounding. I love that different players continue to step up for us and that has driven our team forward. 23 assists shows the selflessness of our team and how we continue to trust and play for each other. We were excited to celebrate Delaynie scoring her 1000th career point in a Bear jersey, and that is a very special moment for her and our entire program. Also, Hannah playing in her 100th career game as a Bear is remarkable and she continues to inch her way up in the record books in several categories. We understand her success is a reflection of her hard work and great teammates around her and that drives our team's success! We need Bear Country in the stands this next week as we have two big home games on Thursday and Saturday! Excited to be back in The Bank!"
