GREELEY, Colo. - Eastern Washington narrowly defeated Northern Colorado 68-62 in Big Sky Conference action Thursday evening from the Bank of Colorado Arena.

Senior Delaynie Byrne scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, both team highs, while also adding a pair of steals and assists.

Sophomore Seneca Hackley added 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the floor. The Colorado Springs native also recorded a pair of steals.

Sophomore Aniah Hall came off the bench and dropped 10 points tying Byrne with a team-high seven boards.

True freshman Tatum West scored 11 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the field.

EWU entered the game allowing a league-low 55 points per game, and the Bears clipped that mark by seven points.
The Bears' best quarter was the fourth, and UNC shot 58.3 percent (7-for-12) from the field.
The Bears, which entered the contest as the top three-point shooting team in the conference, shot 50 percent (7-for-14) from beyond the arc.
