2024-25
- A consistent starter for the Bears, West started in all 31 games she played in
- Tallied 793 minutes of game action
- Recorded her first double-double of the season with a career high 14 rebounds to go along with 14 points in the 85-57 win against Utah State on Nov. 17.
- Recorded a total of four double-doubles throughout the season
- Averaged 6.8 boards and 8.5 points per game
- Made 16-of-18 in the games against Central Christian and Tabor, scoring a career high 23 points against the Blue Jays.
- Finished the game against Tabor with a .917 shooting percentage, making 11 of her 12 shot attempts
- Chipped in 17 points in the win against St. Thomas on Dec. 4, making seven-of-11 from the field on .636 shooting.
2023-24: With 30 starts in 31 games, Tatum averaged 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, showing off her inside scoring ability with a 50.5% field goal percentage. Tatum also demonstrated her defensive skills with 20 steals and 7 blocks, contributing to the team on both ends.
High School: West is also the No. 22 ranked recruit in the state of Texas for the 2023 class according to Jason Keys and Premier Basketball. In her junior season, West averaged 16.9 points per game and 12 rebounds.
The 6'1" forward was also named First Team All-District three times, was voted Newcomer of the Year her freshman season, and earned District Defensive MVP last season. She is also a two-time Team MVP and Offensive MVP and surpassed the 1,000-point mark in her high school career last season. In addition to her prolific high school career, West played AAU basketball for Higher Goals, one of the top AAU programs in Texas.
