Bears Rout Hornets for Fourth Straight Win

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Northern Colorado rolled past Sacramento State 72-59 Thursday evening in Big Sky Conference action.
The Bears, who have won four in a row, used an efficient offensive approach to down the Hornets. UNC shot a season-best 56.1 percent (23-for-41) from the field.
Senior Delaynie Byrne scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Sophomore Aniah Hall came off the bench and dropped 13 points while hauling seven boards and recording one steal.
Senior Hannah Simental finished with 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting from the field. The Pueblo, Colorado native also shot 50 percent (3-for-6) from beyond the arc.
True freshman Tatum West added eight points. Seneca Hackley, Ashley Panem, and Tiani Abrams each scored six points.
