Alirez to Represent United States at Poland Open

WARSAW, Poland – University of Northern Colorado national champion wrestler and Greeley native Andrew Alirez will compete for Team USA in the 65kg freestyle on Sunday, July 30 at the Ziolkowski, Pytlasinski, Poland Open.
Alirez, who recently completed an undefeated 28-0 season en route to the NCAA 141-Pound National Championship, will compete at 65 kg in the men's freestyle. Alirez has competed at the international level and was the 2018 Pan American gold medalist (65kg).
The Ziolkowski, Pytlasinski, Poland Open action will begin at 9 a.m. local time each day with medal matches set for 6 p.m. Warsaw, Poland, is located eight hours ahead of U.S. Mountain Time.
