GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado baseball returns to the diamond this weekend with a three-game Summit League series at South Dakota State.
Series History
UNC and SDSU have played 40 times and the Jackrabbits hold a 23-17 series lead. NDSU has won seven in a row and out of the past 10 games won eight contests. UNC is 0-2 all-time at SDSU. The two teams last played March 24-26 at the Air Force Academy, and the Bears won two out of three to clinch the series.
King's Court
Jake King has been a consistent threat in the UNC lineup. Over the past 10 games, he's batting .333 with three runs batted in and a pair of doubles. He's also drawn five walks and sports a .429 on-base percentage. For the season, King is batting a team-high .331 with 16 RBI and has drawn a team-best 20 walks.
Wagner Producing
