GREELEY, Colo. – St. Thomas narrowly defeated Northern Colorado 7-5 Sunday afternoon in Summit League action from Jackson Field.
As a team, the Bears produced 13 hits.
Craig Kenny batted 3-for-5 with an RBI and scored once.
Jake King finished 2-for-5, and Hayden Heinze and Caden Wagner each went 2-for-4.
Bryce Moore, Carson Gross, Dominic Palma, and Zain Zinicola each collected a hit.
Zach Herrick started on the bump and was credited with the no decision. The Englewood, Colorado native tossed four and two-third innings, scattered six hits, allowed three runs and no walks, and fanned two batters.
The Bears return to the diamond Tuesday at Colorado School of Mines, with the first pitch set for 5 p.m.
