KFKA Announces Former Bear, Matt Gaiter, as Color Analyst for UNC Bears Football Broadcasts

GREELEY, Colo. -- Northern Colorado's Voice, has named former UNC Bears offensive lineman, Matt Gaiter, the new color commentator for Northern Colorado Bears Football.

Gaiter played high school football at Chatfield in Littleton and seven years of college football at both the Air Force and the University of Northern Colorado. While at UNC, Matt played under Earnest Collins Jr. and Ed McCaffrey.

"I'm super excited to be joining KFKA," Gaiter said. "As a former bear, I feel I can provide a unique insight into the broadcasts. I'm really hoping the listeners will gain a better understanding of what's happening on the field as they hear things through the lens of a former player."

Matt will be teaming up with legendary broadcaster, Blake Olson, who took over play-by-play duties last season.

 "Matt is an extremely intelligent young man who played over five years at UNC on the offensive line," Olson said. "He brings insight during the game that very few can offer. I'm excited to work with Matt this season."
