Oral Roberts Defeats UNC in Series Opener

TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts defeated Northern Colorado 10-0 in the series opener Friday evening from J.L. Johnson Stadium.
Jake King batted 2-for-4, while Hayden Heinze, Bradley Hallock, and Craig Kenny each collected a hit.
Heinze and Kenny each stole a base, while Caden Wagner and Carson each reached base after being hit by a pitch.
Dylan Smith started on the mound for the Bears. The freshman threw five innings, allowed 11 hits and six runs, and two walks while striking out one batter.
Griffin Webb and Andrew Isdale entered in relief and threw the remaining three innings.
The Bears and Golden Eagles return to the diamond Saturday at 1 p.m. (MT).
