TULSA, Okla. – Northern Colorado baseball returns to Summit League play this weekend with a three-game series at Oral Roberts.

Series History vs. Oral Roberts

This is only the second time the two programs will play a series. ORU leads the all-time series 3-0.

Smith Earns Co-Peak Pitcher of the Week

Freshman Dylan Smith was named Summit League Co-Peak Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Smith, a Bakersfield, California native, tossed the second complete game shutout of the season by a Summit League pitcher in a 10-0 win over St. Thomas.

Allowed just four hits and one walk and matched his season-high with six strikeouts en route to his second win of the season. Smith earned the first weekly award of his career.

King's Court

Jake King is a consistent threat to the Bear's offensive attack. King leads the team, and is ninth in the conference, with a .327 batting average. He has tallied 32 base hits, seven doubles, and one triple. King has added 11 RBI and drawn 15 walks.

Long Ball
Caden Wagner is 10^th in the conference with five home runs. A key cog in the middle of the UNC lineup, Wagner is batting .299 to go with 24 RBI and a .515 slugging percentage.

Standings

At the halfway mark in league play, the Bears are 3-6, and a strong showing this weekend at ORU will improve UNC's seeding for the Summit League Tournament that's set for May 24-27 in Fargo, North Dakota.
