UNC Looking to Return to Winning Ways Against NAU

Opening Tip
• The Bears return home to close out the regular season this weekend, with Northern Arizona on the docket first. Tip-off against the Lumberjacks is scheduled for 1 p.m. (MT) at Bank of Colorado Arena.
• Saturday's game is also UNC's Educators Day and District 6 Day. Fans can use promo code D6UNC to receive a $5 general admission ticket, and educators can use the promo code EDUCATORS to receive one free general admission ticket. Additionally, the game is also being billed as Faith and Family Day, and fans can use promo code FAITH to receive a $5 general admission ticket.
No radio for Saturday
• Due to technical difficulties, the game will not be called on 1310-AM / 103.1-FM KFKA. Fans not in attendance will still be able to watch online through the ESPN+ platform.
vs Northern Arizona
• The Bears are 22-12 in their Division I history against Northern Arizona, and is 13-3 at home against NAU. UNC has won two of the past three, and three of the past five meetings against the Lumberjacks.
• Earlier this season, UNC suffered an out-of-character defeat to the NAU, losing 83-73 to the Lumberjacks in Flagstaff on Jan. 28. UNC faced a 19-point deficit at halftime, but the Bears responded well in the second half, cutting NAU's lead to six. Dalton Knecht finished the contest with 27 points, scoring 21 in the second half alone. Daylen Kountz scored 15 points, while Matt Johnson II finished third on the team in scoring with 12 points.

Eastern Washington came out hot in the first half and claimed a 51-33 lead over the Bears behind a 51% shooting effort. UNC rebounded in the second half and out-scored the Eagles 44-38, shooting 48.28% from the field. Dalton Knecht posted his 16th game in which he's led the team in scoring. The senior scored 22 points, shooting 6-for-16 (37.5%) from the field.

• Senior guard Dalton Knecht has posted 16 games this season in which he has led the Bears in scoring.
• Through 28 games this season Knecht leads the Big Sky for scoring, averaging 19.9 points per game, which also ranks 24th in the nation. Knecht is third in the Big Sky for three-point percentage (39.1%).
Freshmen Bests
• Freshman Brock Wisne had a career-best night at Sacramento State (Jan. 12) putting up 12 points, shotting 5-for-11, including hitting one three pointer.
• Fellow freshman Langston Reynolds set career-highs in points (12), minutes played (17), field goals made (5), three-pointers made (2), and steals (1) in the loss to Montana State on Jan. 5.
