Knecht Records Fifth Double-Double as Bears Fall Short Against NAU

GREELEY, Colo. – Senior guard Dalton Knecht scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds en route to his fifth double-double of the season on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the Northern Colorado men's basketball team lost, 85-82, to Northern Arizona at Bank of Colorado Arena.
Despite Northern Arizona holding an 11-point lead in the first half, the game was a fairly back-and-forth affair, as UNC tied the game five different times throughout the contest.
Northern Colorado out-played NAU in almost every facet of the game, but NAU ended up shooting nearly 50% from three, to edge out the advantage.
