GREELEY, Colo. – Senior guard Dalton Knecht scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds en route to his fifth double-double of the season on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the Northern Colorado men's basketball team lost, 85-82, to Northern Arizona at Bank of Colorado Arena.

Despite Northern Arizona holding an 11-point lead in the first half, the game was a fairly back-and-forth affair, as UNC tied the game five different times throughout the contest.

Northern Colorado out-played NAU in almost every facet of the game, but NAU ended up shooting nearly 50% from three, to edge out the advantage.

BY THE NUMBERS

The game marked the 17th time that Dalton Knecht has lead the Bears in scoring this season.
In addition to Knecht, three other Bears were in double digits for scoring: Matt Johnson II (13), Daylen Kountz (12) and Riley Abercrombie (22).
The Bears shot 53.7% from the field and out-rebounded NAU, 35-26.
UNC's bench turned in 17 points for the contest.
