GREELEY, Colo. – The story couldn't be written any better.

Northern Colorado raced past Air Force 37-9 in the final dual of the regular season and on Senior Night.

Seniors Chris Sandoval and Andrew Berreyesa both earned wins by pinfall.

Sandoval (149) pinned Alec Viduya at 6:19 and Andrew Berreyesa (174) took care of business and pinned Gage Musser 1:11.

"Really excited for Chris and Andrew for winning on Senior Day and their final match at home," said UNC head wrestling coach Troy Nickerson. "We are peaking at the right time and now it's time for the Big 12 wrestling championships."

No. 1-ranked Andrew Alirez improved to 20-0 on the season and defeated Bryce Shelton by pinfall at 3:40.

In all, four Bears earned wins by pinfall.

The Bears begin prep for the Big 12 wrestling championships, which is set for March 4 and 5 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
