Men's Hoops Heads to Idaho to Begin Final Road Trip

Opening Tip
• The Bears head out on their final road trip of the regular season, with their first stop in Moscow, Idaho, to take on the Vandals for a 7 p.m. (MT) game on Thursday night.
vs Idaho
• The Bears are 11-4 in their Division I history against Idaho, and UNC has won all 11 of the past meetings with the Vandals. The last time Idaho defeated UNC was on Feb. 9, 2017
• Earlier this season, UNC posted a 73-67 win over Idaho in Greeley on Jan. 21. Dalton Knecht posted a career-high 34 points in the win, playing all 40 minutes. Daylen Kountz turned in a 21-point outing, going 9-for-17 from the field. The Bears had 10 steals which tied a season-best mark.
Last Time Out
• Northern Colorado secured its third-consecutive win with a 70-54 win over Sacramento State in Greeley this past Saturday. Senior Dalton Knecht was one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing the contest with 16 points and nine rebounds. Fellow senior Matt Johnson II also finished the night with 16 points, and added four rebounds. Riley Abercrombie hit a trio of threes in the second half and ended the night with 12 points, shooting 4-for-8 from behind the arc.
Leading the Pack
• Senior guard Dalton Knecht has posted 14 games this season in which he has led the Bears in scoring.
• Through 26 games this season Knecht leads the Big Sky for scoring, averaging 19.8 points per game, which also ranks 27th in the nation. Knecht is second in the Big Sky for three-point percentage (40.0%).
Freshmen Bests
• Freshman Brock Wisne had a career-best night at Sacramento State (Jan. 12) putting up 12 points, shotting 5-for-11, including hitting one three pointer.
• Fellow freshman Langston Reynolds set career-highs in points (12), minutes played (17), field goals made (5), three-pointers made (2), and steals (1) in the loss to Montana State on Jan. 5.
