Swim & Dive to open season at Intermountain Shootout

GREELEY, Colo.- Following the conclusion of a stellar 2021-22 campaign, Northern Colorado Swimming & Diving will kick off its 2022-23 season at the Intermountain Shootout hosted by Colorado Mesa on Friday. The meet will be held Friday through Saturday in Grand Junction.
Head Coach Lisa Ebeling and her squad will hit the road as they face off against multiple teams at the annual meet. Last season, the Bears outdueled seven of the eight different schools they competed against at the Intermountain Shootout.
Seven new Bears will make their debut in the Blue and Gold on Friday. Notable returners to the pool for UNC include Anna Austin, Katelyn Bergin, Payten Irwin, Doris Pusztay, and Bryanna Ungs. The team now looks to pick up where they left off last season and bring some medals back to Greeley.
The first day of action of the two-day meet is set to begin at 4 p.m. MT on Friday, while Saturday's events will have a 10:30 a.m. MT start time.
