Hoage Earns Another Preseason All-America Honor

David Hoage was named to the Hero Sports second team All-America team
GREELEY, Colo – Another day closer to the football season and another preseason honor for junior linebacker David Hoage. Hero Sports announced its Preseason All-America teams on Thursday with Hoage earning a spot on the second team.
The honor is the fifth preseason recognition for him to go with the Buck Buchanan watch list, All-Big Sky, Stats Perform and Phil Steel All-America.
He was a third team All-America selection by the AP and Stats Perform in 2021 and made the Hero Spots Sophomore All-America team.
Hoage led the Big Sky in tackles for a loss with 22 and ranked third in the nation on his way to a second team All-Big Sky selection.
He is coming off a season where he set the program's Division I record for sacks with 10.5 while he added in another eight QB hurries. Hoage totaled 70 tackles on the year.
