Hoage Adds Preseason All-American to List of Accolades

David Hoage was named a second team Preseason All-American
David Hoage continues to add to his list of honors. He can add 2022 Stat Perform and Sports Analytics company Preseason All-American to it. Hoage came in on the second team as a linebacker after earning third team honors last season from the company.
This is the second preseason honor the junior has earned after being named to the Preseason All-Big Sky team last week. He was also a third team All-America selection by the AP in 2021 and made the Hero Spots Sophomore All-America team.
Hoage led the Big Sky in tackles for a loss with 22 and ranked third in the nation on his way to a second team All-Big Sky selection.
He is coming off a season where he set the program's Division I record for sacks with 10.5 while he added in another eight QB hurries. Hoage totaled 70 tackles on the year.
