Every team faces adversity during the season but you'd be hard-pressed to find a harder road trip in the country than what Northern Colorado persevered through in 2021-22. Beginning with a trip to Sacramento State, the Bears were on the road for 11 straight days, covering four states and over 2,000 miles. In the end, UNC emerged 3-2 from the marathon and firmly grabbed the attention of the rest of the Big Sky.
Dru Kuxhausen was unstoppable from the three-point line, making 112 threes to rank him eighth in the NCAA.
Senior Bodie Hume became UNC's all-time leader in made three pointers during the Big Sky Title game against Montana State, tabbing 258 in his career.
The Bears reached the Big Sky Title game for the second time in program history, the first being in 2011.
Kountz and Matt Johnson II both earned All-Big Sky Honors, landing on the First and Third teams, respectively.
