MANHEIM, Penn.- Northern Colorado Wrestling once again earns National Wrestling Coaches Association Top 30 Scholar All-American Honors for the fourth year in a row, showing their skills not only on the mat, but also in the classroom.

This year, the Bears earned their highest ranking yet, coming in at No. 9 overall. Last year they placed 20th. The big jump can be attributed to the team's outstanding 3.454 GPA in 2021-22.

UNC is one of four Big 12 teams ranking in the top 10.

Northern Colorado also earned a record six individual student-athletes who were named Scholar All-Americans. This year's honorees include Alan Clothier, Nick Knutson, Jace Koelzer, Dyson Kunz, Nathan Moore, and Jacob Seely.

This makes a total of 22 NWCA Scholar All-Americans under Head Coach Troy Nickerson.
