ACCORDING TO COACH NICKERSON
Very thankful for Northeastern JC, Northwest Kansas Tech and New Mexico Highlands for coming ot wrestle us today. I think we got 20 different guys in our lineup today and it was a great opportunity for some of our younger guys to put on the singlet and compete in front of a home crowd.Â
Overall I think we started a little flat in the first match and then proceeded to get better throughout the day. I'm very happy with our overall performance and the aggression of the guys who hit the mat. We are looking forward to a week off to recover and then start the second half of our season in Chattanooga.
UP NEXT
The Bears get a break for the holidays before heading to the vaunted Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn. January 1-2 and then returning to Bank of Colorado Arena for a pair of home duals January 13 versus CSU-Bakersfield and January 15 versus Cal Poly. Season tickets are available for as low as $65 and single-match tickets for all duals are now on sale at the ticket office in Campus Commons Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, by calling 970-351-4849 or on-line at UNCBears.com/tickets.Â
