LINCOLN, Neb.- Northern Colorado Track and Field continues to have good showings on the road after a weekend at the Mark Colligan Memorial in Lincoln.
Â
Freshman Regina Mpigachai once again proved that she is the one to beat, winning the 800 meters with a time of 2:12.08. This places her No. 1 in the Big Sky currently, a spot she is no stranger to as she also holds the top spot in the mile.
Â
But the first-place victories for UNC did not end there, Wendira Moss also crossed the line first in the 400 meters with a time of 57.77, which ranks her fifth in the Big Sky.
Â
In the men's triple jump, the top five included three Bears. Qwazon Al-Khaliq took home second place and is currently ranked third in the Big Sky. Welre Olivier and Tyler Thimsen finished in third and fifth respectively. This lands Olivier at the No. 7 spot in the Big Sky rankings.
Â
