Kraus joins Baseball staff as volunteer assistant

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado has announced Joe Kraus as its new volunteer assistant coach.
A native of Westminster, Colorado, Kraus arrives in Greeley after two years at McPherson College. Kraus appeared in 32 games as a Bulldog, scoring 19 runs and boasting an on-base percentage of .462.
Prior to McPherson, Joe made a name for himself at Barstow Community College. In his freshman year alone, Kraus hit. 304 with a .341 slugging percentage, scored 32 runs, notched three doubles and recorded one triple.
Throughout his career, Kraus was as sure-handed as they come in the field. Between his time at Barstow and McPherson, Kraus managed a fielding percentage north of .950 and tallied 112 putouts along with 20 double plays.
