Bears drop contest to #4 Eastern Washington

Jace Bobo had an interception and sack, while Dylan McCaffrey passed for 113 yards, ran for another 19 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Bobo's interception in the second quarter set up the first touchdown of the game for UNC. He made a juggling catch diving over the intended receiver as he bobbled it to set the Bears up at the EWU 23-yard line. Five plays later Northern Colorado found paydirt on a four-yard McCaffrey run.
McCaffrey's second touchdown of the game came on the opening drive of the second half. UNC matriculated the ball down the field in 12 plays over six minutes and three seconds. The big play of the drive came on a 2nd and 10 play from the UNC 40 when McCaffrey found Ty Arrington for 36 yards to move deep into Eastern Washington territory,
UNC used a steady dose of the run game eating up 19 of the remaining 23 yards. McCaffrey snuck in from the 1-yard line for his second score.

- UNC retired legendary wide receiver Vincent Jackson's jersey on Saturday.

UNC goes on the road next week when they head west to UC Davis. The Bears and Aggies kick off at 6 pm MT.
