Northern Colorado closes out the road trip against Eastern Washington
The final road game of the regular season has arrived for Northern Colorado women's basketball, with the team staying in the Northwest to face the Eagles.

Opening Tip
Northern Colorado dropped a close game against Idaho on Thursday, 70-65. The Bears had a strong shooting night, finishing with a 48.1 percentage. UNC shot over 50 percent in three-of-the-four quarters. Idaho led for the first two quarters, but the Bears jumped ahead in the third. The Vandals would ultimately rally and overtake the Bears in the fourth quarter.

Alisha Davis recorded her fifth double-double of the season, scoring 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting and adding 10 rebounds. Davis is 24 rebounds away from tying the freshman record.

Alexis Chapman scored 15 points against Idaho and has 18 games in double figures this season. Micayla Isenbart scored 16 points in the game as well.

Scouting the Eagles
Eastern Washington has struggled this season, holding a 3-14 record in conference and 4-22 overall. Despite the record, the Eagles are coming off two close losses last weekend. EWU dropped a, 70-67, game against Southern Utah at home and a 63-58 game against Northern Arizona on the road. Bella Cravens leads EWU in scoring with a 10.3 points per game average, shooting 48.8 percent for the season. Grace Kirscher is right behind Cravens with a 10.0 points per game and a 34.2 shooting percentage. Cravens also leads the team with 8.5 rebounds per game.

In program history, Northern Colorado has a 16-11 record against Eastern Washington. UNC is 9-4 in Bank of Colorado against the Eagles and 6-6 in Cheney. The teams have met twice at neutral sites, splitting games. UNC defeated EWU in January, 63-42. Alisha Davis scored a career-high 21 points in the win.

Northern Colorado has a 152-114 overall record against its current Big Sky opponents. Last season, UNC finished second in the Big Sky with a 15-5 record.
