More than a dozen Bears earn Academic All WAC honors

DENVER – With just a pair of sports competing in the WAC, UNC had 13 student-athletes earn academic honors. Swim and Dive had a record-breaking season and had that success spill over to the classroom as well.

Baseball challenges a student-athlete with the time spent away from campus, UNC had eight players, four freshmen, meet that challenge.

As a whole, 59 percent of the student-athletes who participated in the WAC during the 2018-19 school year earned academic honors.
