Trio of @UNC_TrackField athletes close season at NCAA Regional

Cammy Sargent, McKenna McGrath and Allison Davis close out 2018-19 season at NCAA Regional
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On the first day of the NCAA Track & Field West Regional, three Northern Colorado Bears closed out their 2018-19 season. Cammy Sargent, McKenna McGrath and Allison Davis all competed on the first day of the regional.
For the third and final time of her career, Sargent ran in the women's 800m. The program's record holder in the event finished 26th overall running a 2:08.37. She leaves Northern Colorado as the record holder in the 800m for both indoor (2:07.32) and outdoor (2:07.42).
For McGrath, it was also her final time donning the Blue & Gold as she competed in her first career NCAA Regional. Having qualified for the regional with a jump of 1.75m in the high jump she was unable to record a height on Thursday. She ends her career as a Bear ranked second in the high jump for both indoor (1.70m) and outdoor (1.75m) season in program history.
The final UNC athlete to compete on the day was Allison Davis in the long jump. Davis finished in 47th place with her jump of 5.39m. Having now competed in her first NCAA West Regional, Davis aims for a return trip next season.
What's ahead
The three Bears will stick around Sacramento to cheer on teammate Jake Tagita who will compete in the triple jump Saturday night.
