Northern Colorado dominated the glass in an 82-50 win over Southern Utah Tuesday night
BOISE, Idaho – Southern Utah dominated the boards on Monday against Montana to advance to play Northern Colorado. The Bears turned the tables on SUU on Tuesday night outrebounding them 49-25 in an 82-50 win. UNC advances to play in the Big Sky Semifinals tomorrow night at 8 pm against the winner of the Idaho State-Eastern Washington game.

Abby Kain led the Bears with a Big Sky Tournament record 21 rebounds. The total is a career-high for her as she added in nine points, a career-high four assists, a block and steal. Her 21 rebounds were one shy of tying the program of 22.
Of UNC's 49 rebounds, 19 came on the offensive end leading to 25 second chance points.
Northern Colorado shot well in the game as well with a mark of 44.8 percent from the field including 12-for-29 from 3-point range. Three different Bears finished the game in double figures led by Savannah Smith's 23 points. Alexis Chapman and Micayla Isenbart added in 17 and 13, respectively.
UNC led by the score of 18-10 after the first quarter and then blew the game open with a 17-2 run to start the second quarter. UNC's lead grew to as much as 29 in the first half and 34 in the game.
