Jeremy Romero nearly placed in the mile with a time of 4:19.45 minutes.
Head Coach Amanda Schick talked about the team's performance in Albuquerque and looking ahead to the conference championships.
"The meet presented some great competition and for several events we competed well. Many of our student-athletes recorded personal bests and improved in the conference rankings. Stephen Haas broke the 3k record (8:46.40), and the men's distance events continue to be a solid area of progress. With two weeks out from conference we are progressing well. We still need to sharpen up and refocus before heading to Bozeman, but I'm confident that our best is ahead."Â
