Four Bears Reach Double-Figures Against Denver

UNC men's basketball roll past Denver Tuesday Night
GREELEY – Northern Colorado went on a 7-0 run to open the game against Denver on Tuesday night and never looked back. The Bears defeated the Pioneers 86-64 to improve to 6-4 on the year.
UNC shot 63.3 percent in the first half to build a 52-35 advantage at the break. Jonah Radebaugh led the team with 19 points in the first half. Thirteen of those 19 came in the final 3:30 of the half. For the second straight game Radebaugh hit a buzzer-beater to end the first.
Northern Colorado had four players score at least eight points in the first half and four finished the game in double-figures. Radebaugh led the way with 26 points, followed by Bodie Hume, 16 points, Matt Johnson, 15 points and Kur Jockuch, 10 points.
The Bears grew its lead to as much as 25 points in the second half as they put the game into cruise control for the win.
UNC turned up the heat defensively as well forcing the Pioneers into 25 turnovers leading to 28 points.

- Radebaugh matched his career-high in steals with four.
- Kur Jockuch scored a career-best 10 points.
- Bodie Hume matched his season-high for rebounds with seven the same amount he pulled down against Incarnate Word.

The Bears close out the non-conference slate with a trip to South Dakota. UNC and USD will face off in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the Stanford Pentagon on Friday, December 20 at 6 pm MT.
