Opening Tip
• UNC has won three straight and four of its last five after Tuesday night's 86-64 win over Denver.
• Jonah Radebaugh once again led the Bears in scoring with 26 points. He is now 24 points away from becoming to 22nd member of the 1,000 points club in program history.

• South Dakota last played on December 14, defeating Mayville State, 96-60.
• USD is like UNC entering on a three-game win streak.
• The 'Yotes have faced one other Big Sky school this season in Northern Arizona. They fell to NAU 76-72.
• This is the second straight time Northern Colorado and South Dakota have played in Sioux Falls.

Last Time Out
Northern Colorado jumped out with a 7-0 run to open the game against Denver and never looked back. The Bears led for 39:46 of the game, winning 86-64. Four Bears finished in double-figures scoring led by Jonah Radebaugh's 26 points.

Scouting the 'Yotes
South Dakota is off to a strong start in 2019-20 with a 9-3 record. They started the season 5-0 and are currently on a three-game win streak.

USD has five player averaging double-digits scoring led by Tyler Hagedorn and Stanley Umude each scoring 17.4 points per game.

The 'Yotes are scoring 77.3 points per game thanks in part to their strong ball movement leading to open shots. The 1.36 assists to turnover ration ranks 22nd in the nation and their 49.1 percent shooting is 19th.

Under second year head coach Todd Lee, USD is picked to finish second in the Summit League this season.

History against South Dakota
Long time North Central Conference rivals, UNC and South Dakota had not met since both moving up to Division I until 2017. The Bears squeaked out a 73-72 win. Overall, South Dakota leads the series 20-31. The Bears and 'Yotes have met twice in Sioux Falls with UNC winning both games.

On This Date
The Bears are 5-13 when playing on December 20, but have won their past two games on the date. UNC last played on December 20th in 2016 when they defeated UC Riverside at home 77-61.

What's Ahead?
The Bears will take a Holliday Break before starting Big Sky play. UNC Starts the 2019-20 Big Sky season at Portland State on December 28. Tip-off is set for 3 pm MT.
