Schultz Earns Offensive Player of the Week

Daisy Schultz was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week after filling up the stat sheet over the weekend.
OGDEN, UT- After another weekend sweep in conference, Daisy Schultz was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week. It is Schultz first weekly honor in her career.
The junior setter averaged 11.67 assists this weekend, scoring 105 total. Schultz is currently second in the conference with 10.85 assists per set. In 2019,
Schultz has amassed 1009 total assists.
UNC's hitters benefited from Schultz's passing this weekend, scoring 134 kills in the two wins .
Schultz posted 59 assists in the win over Montana State on Thursday and followed up with 46 against Montana the following night.
Schultz had an all-around strong weekend, averaging 4.11 digs per set, including a career-best, 24 against the Bobcats. At the service line, Schultz delivered two service aces, along with one solo block and one block assist against Montana State. She posted four kills against Montana.
Schultz is moving up the UNC record books with 2911 career assists, ranking eighth all-time in program history. Her total currently ranks fourth in division I era.
Last season, Schultz earned All-Big Sky second team honors with 1212 assists.
Northern Colorado will play two matches at Bank of Colorado Arena this weekend, facing Weber State on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.(MT). UNC will then play Idaho State on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
