Baseball season is right around the corner and there has been a shake up to the Northern Colorado staff. Nick Childs has been promoted to recruiting coordinator in addition to his title as pitching coach.
Jake Ek has also been elevated to assistant baseball coach.
These moves come in the wake of former recruiting coordinator Nate Rasmussen accepting a job in the Minnesota Twins organization.
The Bears open the season Feb. 15 at UC Davis and their home opener is March 1 vs. North Dakota State.
