BEAR BITESÂ
-Â Â Saturday night was a matchup of the BSC's top two scorers. Jordan Davis outscored Jerrick Harding 25 to 16.
-Â Â Davis maintained his lead on the conferences scoring crown and the Bears are still the second-highest scoring team in the league as well.
-Â Â Bodie Hume continued his great freshman season by scoring 14 points and pulling down four boards.
-Â Â Fellow freshman Kur Jockuch posted a career-high eight rebounds in his second career start.
-Â Â UNC still has the most made three-pointers in the league, but ISU has overtaken them for the highest average per game.
Â
Â
Northern Colorado will be playing its second game in three days Monday night, Idaho State got Saturday night off and has had four days to rebound from its loss to Weber State their last time out.
Â
Â
IDAHO STATE INSIGHT
-Â Â The Big Sky standings are the definition of a log jam, ISU has played one less game than UNC and is tied for fifth place with Eastern Washington.
-Â Â However, the Bengals have three losses along with EWU, Montana State and Southern Utah.
-Â Â Brandon Boyd leads ISU averaging nearly 14 points per game.
-Â Â Balint Moscan checks in averaging 11 points a game.
UNC won both meetings last season, but ISU holds a 30-18 series lead.
Â
Â
INSIDE THE MATCHUP
-  In non-conference play, UNC and ISU both played Pepperdine, the Bears topped the Waves at home while the Bengals got the trip to the beach, but came        home with a loss.
