UNC looks to stay in first place with a win over Weber State

Northern Colorado improved to 3-0 on the road in the Big Sky this season with a win at Montana State. The Bears now have the chance to move that record to 5-0 with a pair of games away from Bank of Colorado Arena this weekend.
BEAR BITES
- After being stifled by Montana, UNC was able to balance out it's scoring against MSU when they had four players finish in double figures led by Bodie Hume who scored 16.
- It was the second time this season the freshman has led the Bears in scoring and just the third time all year Jordan Davis hasn't led UNC in points.
- The Bears offense continues to go as their three-pointing shooting goes. Versus the Bobcats they knocked down eight triples. On the season they are averaging 10 on the season.
- They have made 19 more three-pointers than anyone else in the Big Sky.
- Kai Edwards stepped up against MSU with his best game of the season grabbing a career-high tying 14 rebounds and added nine points as he came off the bench for the first time this season.
- Davis continues to lead the conference in scoring and is seventh in the nation. He starts the road trip just 180 points from becoming the Bears all-time leading scorer.
For the second-straight game, UNC is involved in a game with first-place on the line. The week started with UNC, MSU and Weber State all being tied for first, the Bears broke that tie with the Bobcats and the Wildcats kept pace by beating Idaho State on Thursday night.

- Cody John gives WSU two of the top four scorers in the league averaging 15.2 a game.
- After being upset at home by Southern Utah, WSU has won back-to-back games to improve to 5-Â Â 1 in BSC play.
- Both teams have four players averaging at least 10 points a game.
The Wildcats own a 13-3 series lead, but UNC won the last meeting in blowout fashion to eliminate Weber from the Big Sky Tournament.
