MOORHEAD, Minn.- The Bears defeated Concordia College (Minn.) 5-1 in women's Friday night on the road. The Bears began by winning all three doubles matches. Then in singles, UNC did not drop a match and posted four 6-0 sets to secure victory in under two hours of play.

At No. 1 singles, Raffa Mora defeated Jenna Forknell 6-0, 6-2. Tristen Bryant-Otake continued her winning ways at No. 2 with a win over Kendra Stoick 6-1, 6-2. Madeline Doherty took care of Lisa Neumann at No. 3, 6-0, 6-1 and Sarina Chhabra defeated Lexi Johnson 6-0, 6-0 without giving up a game. The Bears defaulted No. 6 singles, giving the Cobbers their only team point.

The Bears (5-10, 1-6 Big Sky) continue their three-match road trip with a match against Big Sky foe North Dakota on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in Grand Forks. Concordia, Minn. falls to 3-14 overall and will play St. Olaf next on Saturday.
