Finerty continued to get further into Styles' service games in the third set and earned at break back to even things at 3-3, but Styles got the last point to make it 7-5. Time of the match: 1 hour, 49 minutes.
- Kyle Pease was striking the ball with precision early in his match against SDSU junior Marco Paulo Castro. After closing the first set 6-3, Pease was able to draw enough errors from Castro to take the match 6-3, 6-0. Time of the match: 46 minutes.
- Alex Vakouftsis played good consistent tennis to outlast SDSU freshman Gabriel Santos in the first set. It was more of the same in the second, Vakouftsis showing no mercy and winning the match 6-2, 6-0. Time of the match: 58 minutes.
- After losing the first set in short fashion, Hayden Cramer played better with the lead in the second. Cramer found one break of serve to take the second set 6-3. In the third, a tiebreaker would be necessary to determine the winner and Cramer finished strong, winning the first five points and eventually the match. Time of the match: 1 hour, 35 minutes.
- SDSU sophomore Chuck Tang did a nice job stepping into short balls throughout the match, but Agustin Lombardi showed dedication and gutted out the win 7-6(4), 6-2.
- Cassell King had a strong performance at No. 6 singles, but could not come out with the win, dropping a third set tiebreaker 10-5 to SDSU sophomore Elliot Ward.
