Greeley, Colo – Northern Colorado Women's Soccer will kick off its conference slate this Friday, September 23, when they take on the Weber State Wildcats in Ogden, Utah.
The Bears are rolling off the heels of their fifth victory of the season after taking down the University of Nebraska Omaha last Friday in Greeley. Their victory over the Mavericks also gives the Bears a 4-0 record at Jackson Stadium.
The Wildcats didn't navigate the waters of non-conference with the same success as the Bears. Although Weber State took on the Pac-12's Utah and SEC's Missouri, Weber managed only two victories, a 2-0 win over New Mexico and a 2-1 edge of New Mexico State. Since defeating the Aggies, however, Weber State has gone winless in it's last three games.
Friday's matchup will be the 13th meeting between the two Big Sky Conference opponents. The Bears will be looking to even up the all-time series that stands at 5-4-3 in favor of the Wildcats.
