Softball Looks to Pick Up Wins on the Road

The UNC squad travels to Albuquerque to face the NM Lobos in a three-game series
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado softball continues its 2016 season this weekend, traveling to Albuquerque, New Mexico for a three-game series against the University of New Mexico.
The Bears currently trail in the all-time series against the Lobos, with only two wins in 13 total games. The games span from 2004 to 2012, with the most recent game (2012) resulting in an 11-3 loss in five innings for UNC.
Saturday's doubleheader will start with a 1:00 p.m. MT game, with the second game of the day scheduled shortly thereafter (slated for approximately 3:00 p.m.). Sunday morning will conclude the series with an 11:00 a.m. scheduled start.
All three games will be available to watch via live stream at http://www.golobos.com/sports/2015/11/9/TheMWNetwork.aspx?master=watch, and fans can also follow along with live stats at lobos.statbroadcast.com.
UNC is 3-8 on the season so far after going 2-3 at the UTA Tournament, 1-4 at the Cardinal Classic, and falling to Colorado State this past Tuesday.
