GREELEY, Colo. – It continues to be a stretch of threes for Northern Colorado (8-15, 5-6 Big Sky) men's hoops. After three straight at home, the Bears head out for three games on the road beginning with Idaho (14-10, 6-5 Big Sky) this Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8:00 p.m. (MT).

Scouting The Bears (Game Notes)
- UNC finished its three-game home stand 1-2 after dropping back-to-back contests to Weber State (64-54) and Idaho State (90-57)
- The 33 point loss to ISU was the worst defeat the Bears have suffered in Big Sky play since joining the conference in 2006.
- This will be just the third matchup between the two schools with Northern Colorado dropping the first two games, one in the 2014-15 season and the second this season at home, 75-70.
- Junior forward Jamal Evans scored a game-high 24 points in the loss against the Vandals, including going 5-of-7 from three. After his 24 point performance, Evans suffered a knee injury and has seen little court time since recovering.
- Since losing to Idaho on Jan. 2 the Bears have gone 4-5 in Big Sky play.
- Northern Colorado went 1-2 on the exact same three-game road stretch last season, defeating North Dakota, but falling to Idaho and Eastern Washington.
Scouting The Vandals (Game Notes)
- Idaho split last weekend, winning on the road at Southern Utah (68-44), but falling at Northern Arizona (72-70) to move to 6-5 in Big Sky play.
- The Vandals suffered a big loss after their two top scorers in Victor Sanders and Perrion Callandret went down with injuries. The duo are the only players on the team averaging in double figures this season.
- Callandret hasn't seen Jan. 14 and Sanders hasn't played since Jan. 23, but it is possible that both will return to the floor for Thursday's matchup against Northern Colorado.
- Despite the injuries Idaho has still managed to go .500 (4-4) without the two players.
- The Vandals defeated UNC earlier in the season on the road, 75-70. Both Perrion Callandret and Chad Sherwood scored 18 points in the win. Chris Sarbaugh and Victor Sanders pitched in with 11 apiece.
On The Road Again
- UNC heads out on the road for three straight games, beginning at Idaho (Feb. 11) and then to Eastern Washington (Feb. 13). The team ends the run at North Dakota (Feb. 20). 5 of the Bears last 7 games will be away.
- Northern Colorado had the exact same road trip last season and picked an on OT win at North Dakota, but fell at Eastern Washington and Idaho.
- The Bears currently sit at 2-7 in games away from Greeley this season with their two road wins coming at Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. They would need to win out the road to finish with a .500 record in games away from Greeley.
- UNC has only played one game in Moscow, Idaho in the program's career, falling in 2014-15, 89-73.
Quick Stats
- Freshman guard, Jordan Davis was working on an eight-game double figures scoring streak, but it came to an end after the loss against Idaho State. Davis finished the game with 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
- In road games the team is averaging 73.2 ppg, but has been allowing opponents to reach 84.2 ppg.
- Junior guard, Dallas Anglin has been the team's best road player, averaging 16.5 ppg. Junior guard, Jordan Wilson is next in line, in boasting 14.9 ppg.
- The Bears are shooting 43.5% from the field and 34.5% from beyond in the arc in their nine road contests this season. They have allowed their opponents to shoot 48.0% from the floor and 40.2% from three point land in those games.
- UNC has played better in the second half of road games this season, outscoring their opponents 338-328, compared to first halves which they've been outscored 346-248.
Where Does He Rank Now?
- Junior guard, Jordan Wilson continues to climb up the D1 Top 10 lists. He's just two three-point makes away from taking over fourth place with 129, which is currently held by former guard, Sean Taibi.
- Wilson remains third in assists with 219, needing just 13 more dishes to move into second all-time, passing former guard, Will Figures' mark of 231.
- He also ranks ninth in scoring (823), seventh in scoring average (9.7), ninth in steals (71), ninth in field goals made (289), seventh in field goals attempted (664), and fifth in three-pointers attempted (528), making him arguably one of the best all-around players in the team's D1 history.
