2013-14: Went 9-19 during the season, including 3-12 in duals...Won by pin four times...Took third place at 184 pounds at Northern Colorado's Old Chicago Open before filling in at 197 pounds the rest of the season due to Brian Macchione's injury...Went winless in WWC action...Faced two ranked opponents during the year, losing both times.
2012-13: Redshirted but posted a 6-5 record while wrestling unattached...Three of his wins were by fall, including one in just 17 seconds at the Bob Smith Open Dec. 1 at Fort Hays State in Hays, Kan.,...Went 3-1 at 184 pounds and took third place at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open Jan. 26 at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, a performance that included his two other pins.
High School: Won a pair of state titles in 2A at Burlington, winning at 195 pounds as a senior after winning the 189 pound title as a junior... Was a two-sport athlete for the Cougars, also playing football where he averaged over five tackles per game as a senior... Helped lead Burlington to the 2011 Colorado State 2A team championship, winning the 189 pound title... As a senior, was 40-2 on the mat and was ranked number one in the state throughout most of the season.
