2013-14: Went 8-13 during the season, including 6-9 in duals...Went 1-4 in WWC regular-season action and 1-2 at the tournament, finishing in fourth place...During the year, faced the #2, #3 and #23 wrestlers at 165 pounds, losing all three times...Had match wins against Drexel, VMI, Grand Canyon, Air Force, Cal Poly and Arizona State.
2012-13: Went 13-10 overall and 2-3 in duals before an injury ended his season...Placed third at UNC's Old Chicago Open Nov. 17 by going 5-1 with two pins and a major decision...Lost twice during the season to wrestlers nationally ranked in the top 3 of the 165-pound weight class...Had three pins and three major decisions during the season.
2011-12: Began the season 4-2 at the Michigan State Open and followed it up with a 5-2 record at the Old Chicago Open for a fourth-place finish... Also went 1-2 at the prestigious Cliff Keen Invitational before going 1-12 in dual matches... Finished the year with a 12-20 overall record... Went 1-2 at the NCAA West Regional, winning his first round in the back draw, 12-2 over Nick Flynn from South Dakota State.
2010-11: Redshirted... Went 5-2 in unattached competition with one fall (1:29).
High School: Lettered all four years while wrestling for Jodi Webb and the Capital High School Eagles ... Also lettered in football and golf ... Participated in water-polo as well ... Three time conference champion in wrestling as well as two time state champion ... Three-year team captian of the wrestling squad ... Also recruited by Wyoming, Boise State and Pacific.
