Heather was a four year letter winner at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. During her time their her team made four NCAA Tournament appearances. Before graduating from Truman she was able to participate in two internships. First was in the summer of 2011 where she worked for the Rockwood School District in their Communication Department as a communication intern. The summer of 2012 she work as a media relations intern for the Fort Collins Foxes Baseball Club in Fort Collins, Colorado.Â
